Senior High (grades 9-12)

The Senior High Teen Class is taught by Paul & Laura Meyer. Summit Youth Ministry meets every Sunday morning at 9:45 for a weekly Bible class, where we ‘dig a little deeper’ into God’s Word. The Summit teens have many activities each month, including S.N.A.C.s (Sunday Night After Church), volleyball, youth conferences, and a whole lot more. Our activities are designed to be fun and engaging, while encouraging our young people to invite other teens in order to reach them with the Gospel. We also enjoy a week of youth camp each summer, as well as opportunities for missions trips and weekly outreach. Our goal is to engage teens in loving Christ and others, and serving God in their youth. We welcome all teens to come and see what’s going on in Summit Youth Ministry.

Junior High (grades 7-8)

 The Junior High Teens are taught by John & Kirstyn McClaran.  They meet every Sunday Morning for Sunday School. The lessons are informative, and are aimed at preparing our Junior High young people to enter the Senior High Teen class. We teach basic Bible principles, and build upon what they have learned in the elementary Sunday School. We are endeavoring to work in conjunction with the parents of our Junior High kids, and train them to be Godly young people. We believe in the verse found in Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”  Here at Parkview Baptist Church we are trying to follow God and lead our children in His way. The Junior High class has one to two activities per month. They also participate with the Senior High on some combined activities.
